I have a 3930K that seems much hotter than it should be. At 1.2v, im hitting 75-80c @4.2ghz under Cinebench and gaming. At all stock, I hit in the same range. My cooler is a Corsair H110i GTX. I feel as though my cooling is more than sufficient, tried multiple TIM changes, cooler remounts, feels very solid every time. I would appreciate any help, this poor 3930K needs some oc headroom! Thanks in advance!

Have you made sure you're on the latest BIOS revision for your motherboard? Are you on Windows 10? If so open up Task Manager and monitor your resource usage when idling. You may be suffering from Time Broker corruption or a Memory Leak.

Mind sharing your full system's specs?
