Installing a s8 OS on s7

I have an s7, and I'd like to customize my Always on Display settings, but on this phone it is not possible to do much. So I was wondering if I'd be able to customize the Always on Display settings like on an s8 if I just installed the s8 OS. Would that be possible?

The feature you want I think natavly is in Android 8.0 (Oreo). Android Oreo firmware update version G935FXXU2ERD5 was made available in late April, delays will depend on your Carrier but all S7's are targeted across the world for this update starting this month.
