As my title states my msi gtx 1080 stopped working out of no where. I didn't install or update anything, i thought my computer went into sleep mode when i was doing chores and so i moved the mouse, pressed keys on my keyboard and nothing all it says is No Signal on my monitor, I have tested the display port cord to see if it was faulty but it wasn't. I tested my monitor with my laptop and it works fine then i connected my gpu to another monitor still nothing, so i connected my hdmi to my motherboard and i got my regular image back again but with my on board graphics card that comes with my mobo, but when i went to check device manager my gpu wasn't there so i hit the option to show hidden items and it popped up but it was transparent and it said it wasn't connected code 45. so i tried unplugging and re-plugging and testing new ports, still nothing. idk what to do or what happened someone please help just barely had this gpu for less then 2 years and well we all know the price of these things. Do note the gpu does still turn on with all the lights etc. not sure if fans are supposed to turn on or not im assuming they only turn on when its hot. In the device manager i did try updating the gpu but it said everything was up to date then i tired to uninstall the driver then restarted my computer so it can download the driver again but still nothing, i also checked my psu but everything works fine. PLEASE HELP!!
