I currently own a ADATA XPG Flame 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133
and a CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400

Each of them work find on their own, however when I put them both in that the same time
I keep gettings bsods,
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION(win32kfull.sys)(dxgkrrnl.sys)
PAGE_FAUL_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (win32kfull.sys)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL(nvlddmkm.sys)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I went into the motherboard bios and it had set it to 2133mhz at 15/15/15, tried changing it to 2400 mhz, but that didn't do anything. They should be able to work right?

Solution

Buy a specific kit of 16 or 32GB.
Sell what you currently have. Or keep it for some other system.

there's so many forums that say that as long as as long as the CAS lataency, speed, and type are the same, that it shouldn't matter.

If I got a G.SKILL Aegis 8GB DDR4 DRAM 2133MHz C15, do you think there'd be hope?

And innumerable people who try it, and watch it fail.

I bought the comp I bought is prebuilt with the ADATA ram, but I don't think they make the 2133 version of it anymore. Can you give me a suggestion on what to do because I really can't work on 8gigs :(
