Hi, I want to upgrade my Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit. I want to know if this (https://softlay.net/operating-system/windows-7-ultimate-iso-download.html) link is legit. If it is, may I get some help on steps like where to download, what to do after download, etc.

I've also thought of backing up my files on an external hard drive.

Well...to download the ISO from Microsoft, you'd need a valid license key.
Which you don't have.

To install the 64bit, you'd need the valid license key.
Which you don't have.

My suggestion? Windows 10. Install and run it Unactivated, until such time as you choose to pay for the software you use.
From a different PC...64bit, create a Win 10 install USB or DVD.
Here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

On your current system, save any personal files you can't bear to lose, off to some other drive.
Install Windows 10.

1. No, that link is not a valid location to download or buy WIn 7.

2. Which version of Win 7 do you currently have?

3. 32bit to 64bit requires a full install.

4. You probably do not actually have to buy anything. Your existing license, assuming it is valid, should work for a 64bit install.

5. Yes, you need to backup anything you need to keep. You should be doing this anyway.
