The eternal device driver update addiction lol. I use a Lenovo Yoga 710 (lowest spec configuration) laptop.

I was just randomly browsing through my device manager, checking the dates of installed drivers. I noticed my display adapter (Intel HD 515) driver was from 2017. Checked on Intels page with that GPU and a new update was available from last month. It specifically said compatible with Intel HD 515 GPU, same CPU and OS that I have.

Can I go ahead and update? Will I break something? Can I expect any performance improvements if I do go ahead and update. Thanks.

Got a link to it? If the supported devices are listed and you fulfill that requirement, you can go ahead however there is a sage saying...don't fix what isn't broken. SO if you're doing fine as is, your OCD will only make things worse and the OCD will get even worse. That cycle isn't healthy ;)
