So, I have had to update my graphics card driver twice a week since roughly April 24. I have an Nvidia GTX 1060 and on April 24 I had a graphics driver update. I updated it, and my games worked fine. But now, every couple of days (have not determined what causes it), games will say that my graphics card isn't working. Lo and behold, I will need to update my graphics card driver.

I go through the Nvidia GeForce Experience and it will say I have a new driver found - released on April 24. I install it, games work for a while, and then suddenly the same thing will happen. Sometimes this occurs within the exact same day. I will play a game, leave the PC on, come back on later in the day and it will suddenly say my driver needs to update!

Basically, I have been reinstalling the same April 24 driver for weeks now. What's happening?

1) download and run DDU: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

2) install NVidia drivers again but during install choose "custom->clean" path

See if that works.

I would also run MEMTEST86 for a full pass www.memtest86.com
a) create USB stick (follow instructions), then
b) go into BIOS to select the stick (with quick-boot option or if necessary set the USB stick to top of BIOS' boot list and save settings)
