soo i want to upgrade my g4560 to probably an i5 but i dont know what i5 the gen etc i only know that my motherboard has an intel socket of lga1151
I got a H110M-D motherboard idk what cpu to get for an upgrade

If you can operate off of a G4560 while on the H110 board you currently have then you're on the latest BIOS update. Just to be sure, see if you have an BIOS updates pending. You can then look towards any Kabylake processor part though mind you, you should not look at K suffix processors like the i5-7600K or the i7-7700K.

how can i know that there is a pending bios update?

Motherboard:asus h110m-d
Ram:12gb 2133mhz currently not the same frequency cause gonna upgrade to a 16gb
