Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with installing drivers on my MSI RX 580 Gaming X 4gb. First off my computer specs are:

AMD FX 6300
MSI 970 Gaming mobo
16GB 1333mhz DDR3 Ram
Kingston 120gb SSD
EVGA 600W 80+ bronze PSU
windows 10 pro 64 bit

I was given the new video card quite some time ago as a gift and just finished putting my build together the other day. Ive updated all my drivers for everything else, and my motherboard bios is up to date according to MSI website. when i try to install the AMD drivers i get a bsod saying "thread stuck in device driver", then after it reboots the driver is not installed. Ive tried manually installing the driver in safe mode and that caused an endless bsod loop at the login screen.

The only 2 things I have not tried is installing the driver off the CD it came with, and flashing the bios (Which i believe requires an installed driver). I've tried a friends GTX 680 2gb in the computer and it had no issue with driver install. This is my first full custom build, and all the parts are new.

I've tried going through msi but to register the product they require an invoice/receipt which is long lost.

I loaded gpu-z and it didnt recognize a graphics card at all. Ended up calling msi and saying that and they are replacing the card.
