For $250, I would be looking for something with other features than just a larger panel. 32 inches seems a bit large for 1080p unless you are sitting relatively far from the screen, otherwise things might appear a bit pixelated.

Around that price range, it's possible to find some decent 1440p screens, though that might not be ideal unless you have a graphics card that can push decent frame rates at that resolution.

Or, go for a 1080p screen with a high refresh rate like 144Hz, which will allow you to view frame rates higher than 60fps, which can create smoother motion in fast-paced games. There are some curved VA panel screens (like that one) in the 24-27 inch range with a 144Hz refresh rate for a similar price.

The size of the monitor don't matter just the resolution.
You could have a 80 inch and a 24 inch if their both 1080p then the card would give the same performance .

For 32 inches to me that is to big for 1080p. Their people the use bigger at 1080p also though

I don't think there talking about performance but the ppi on the monitor.

As for this it comes down to how far you sit from the monitor.

I think curved screens really make more sense for an ultra-wide rather than a regular 16:9 widescreen.

On the other hand, I used a 27" 1920x1080 and was happy with it. My son's 34" 2560x1080 ultrawide is very nice, though some would argue that it's too low of a resolution for that screen size.
