Help CPU temps very high while AIO temp is low.

Just got my new build of i7 7700k using the NZXT Kraken x62 AIO and was using the parent monitor CAM to look at my temperatures and my CPU temp start RealBenchench (stress test) was around 85-90 degrees all the time while my AIO liquid temp was only about 35 degrees. This is my first time dealing with liquid coolers but shouldn't the liquid temps be closer, know they wont be the same but feel like I'm not making most of my cooler. Also the fan speed running 65% and pump were running 75% capacity.

Thanks in advance

If your CAM readout shows your pump RPM but you're not getting coolant flow, you might possibly have an airlock preventing coolant flow. Disconnect the radiator from case, leaving the CPU block connected. Power on the system, tilt and tap the radiator with your hands and see if this corrects the issue. If not, yes, RMA.

AIOs are not filled 100% full of coolant and some air pockets persist. If these get into the pump chamber, they can cause the pump to be unable to move coolant since air is compressible.

I own an i9 7920X based PC and I use the same NZXT Kraken X62 AIO cooler on it. MY operating temps are currently 31 Degrees Centigrade. I mention this because the Kraken is more than capable of managing the thermal output of an i7 7700K.

This might seem a bit obvious, but seriously, obvious problems are the ones often overlooked. In addition to making sure that the hoses are not kinked, check and make sure the cooler is actually connected to the right headers on your motherboard. CPU Fan OPT is not the same as CPU FAN. Make certain that the cooler itself has been connected to the required SATA power connector. Do you have the radiator mounted vertically, if so have you made sure the hoses are at the bottom, rather than the top?

This may be handy for just checking over how you have your fan setup, its always a good idea to double check the setup.

If your water block/pump is mounted nice and snug, with thermal compound, your hoses are not kinked or pinched, and your pump is wired in properly... first check to see if you can make it cool better with the pump at 100% setting. IF this doesn't work, you may have gotten a bad pump. If so, RMA the whole unit for a replacement. (I had to do that once, the pump failed. One line was hot, the other cold, and the radiator was cool too.)

Both line is cold for me, looks like pump not worked. Radiator is cool. When i change pump to 100% rpm is changed to 2700 but liquid temperature is still 32 st.
