Nvidia Driver 397.31 has to be reinstalled everyday, the PC hasn't been turned off like you might expect it too when it deletes my graphics card driver. It just vanishes on its own each time I jump on my PC. I cant play games on it when the driver hasn't been reinstalled and it usually says "You don't have a card with supported dx11 or driver doesn't support dx11(even though I have a 1080.)
I have windows 10 (64-Bit)

Solution
I had trouble with 391.35 myself. I switched to 391.24, which I'm still using. So give that driver a try. And be sure to download and install from the geforce.com site(not Windows).

Yes, I read it all.
They are BETA drivers. BUT they will fix your uninstalling issues.
EVERY driver has issues, its all pretty much hit or miss with most drivers. So just try them out and if they don't work for you then go back to ones that are listed just before the drivers that had your uninstalling problem.

I'm suggesting 391.24 because it is certified and because it works on my system. The beta driver is below.

Here is the hot fix driver.

The drivers that had the uninstalling issues were also Certified. All that certification means is that Microsoft didn't find anything out of the ordinary when they tested the driver. Not every Quality Assurance test will catch all problems. All you can do is install the newest drivers that come out and if they don't work, either revert to an older driver or wait for a Hotfix driver.

The driver I suggested is a month older than 397.31 . Big deal, I'm using it because it works.

You are free to use what you like.

No-one is wrong here. The hot fix driver is of 397 to address the uninstall issue so technically the beta driver is post and not below.

Nvidia do say if prefer whql just going to have to wait. But if want the better performance 397 has over 391 drivers, try the hot fix version. Hot fix version contains the entire driver package.
