2nd SSD showing up as port 1 same as 1st main OS SSD, but 2nd is "removable"

Hot swap is disabled for all ports in my bios. However i didnt see this extended option where my 2nd ssd was located, but i could alter anything... How do i make it so my 2nd ssd wont show up as removable, but rather a fixed disk.

There are 2 separate controllers on that board , ports 6 & 7 are on a secondary asmedia controller.

May show as ports 0/1 or 1/2 same as the native ports on the board.

didn't work for me :( Any other ideas? It's showing up as the same port as my main SSD Port 1. Which is the issue i'd believe. But why would it be port 1 if theres only one port 1? lol Maybe something to do with my motherboard? Ie: It may have two ports that show as port 1? idk... weird.

My MB: Gigabyte ATX DDR4 Intel LGA 1151 SATA E (6Gbit/s) Motherboards (GA-Z170X-Gaming 7)

I just switched sata ports and it works now as a fixed disk. But still... Maybe im lacking knowledge on my mb sata ports? Since this is my first pc build... i wonder why it was showing up as port 1 for both?
