I'm planning to build my first gaming PC this summer and I'm about to buy all the components I need but there is still one thing I'm not sure about and it's should I buy a 550w or a 650w PSU? Everywhere I checked there are people that say that 550w would be enough for an overclocked gtx 1070 ti and a i7 processor and other that say that it's better to take a 650w PSU. In my country there is a 30$ difference between the 550w and the 650w PSU so I don't want to just go and buy the 650w version if I can save 30$ and go for the 550w PSU.
Can somebody tell me if the 550w will be enough or is it safer to buy a 650w PSU for my build?
Btw this is my build:
- Case: Phanteks eclipse p400s tg
- GPU: Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 ti advanced (overclocked)
- CPU: intel i7-8700
- CPU cooler: Cryorig H7
- hard drive: WD Blue 1TB Desktop 7200 RPM
- SSD: samsung 960 EVO 250 GB
- motherboard: gigabyte Z370 aorus gaming 5
- Power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 550/650 G3
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 2×8GB CL15
- operating system: windows 10
Thanks in advance!

It is not doubt a 550w good quality PSU will do just fine for your PC config specially you can not oc the cpu. You can confirm it in online psu calculator website. However if you have money get a 650W which will also have decent headroom for upgrade say after 3-4yrs. If it is not your plan get 550W.

I'm not planning to upgrade it in the next 5-6 years so for now the 550w will be enough. Thanks!
