Hello, good people!

TL;DR Version
I am able to get it running at 2800 MHz with tight-ish timings, but can't get above 2800 no matter what voltage or timings I use. Halp plz.

Long Version
I am not new to overclocking, but I haven't had a new computer since the FX-6300 came out. I am struggling to get even the rated speed out of my memory with my new build. First, here are my specs:

- AMD Ryzen 2700X (stock, not overclocked), Wraith Prism cooler
- EVGA GTX 960 SSC (yes, I need an upgrade)
- AsRock Master SLI/ac x470 Motherboard
- Corsair Dominator Platinum Special Edition Blackout 2x16 GB DDR4 RAM (CMD32GX4M2C3200C14M), rated 3200 MHz CL14 and Corsair says each kit can safely reach 3600 MHz
-Samsung 960 EVO 500GB NVMe SSD
- Rosewill Quark 650W 80+ Platinum PSU
- Corsair Carbide SPEC-04 case
- Windows 10 Pro

Here are some helpful links:
- Memory info page: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Memory-Size/Tested-Speed/dominator-se-config/p/CMD32GX4M2C3200C14M
- Motherboard QVL and support page: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X470%20Master%20SLIac/index.asp#MemoryPR

I am having no problems with this computer other than getting the memory to run at the speed at which it belongs. I would be happy to get 3200 CL14 and even happier to get 3600MHz. I realize this kit is not on the QVL, and I realize the product was made with Intel CPU's in mind. But it is still Samsung B-Die (I think!), and I would really like to try to get the rated speeds before I give up and swap it with a G Skill kit or something. Here are things I have tried:

-stock 2133 and AUTO timings, successful
-3200 MHz XMP Profile with unchanged timings (14-16-16-36) and AUTO everything else, failed
-3200 MHz XMP Profile with DRAM voltage at 1.425V, failed
-3200 MHz XMP Profile with loosened timings 20-20-20-44, failed, even with 1.425V
-XMP Profile modified to 2133 through 2800 with unchanged timings 14-16-16-36, 1.35V, all successful
-XMP Profile at 2933 with unchanged timings 14-16-16-36, 1.35V, successful but inconsistent boot
-XMP Profile at anything above 2933 refuses to boot, failed
-XMP Profile at 2933 or 3200 manually configured all timings, even sub-timings, and voltages to what the XMP Profile SHOULD set it to, failed
-XMP Profile at 2800 with tightened timings 12-11-10-29, 1.35V, AUTO everything else, successful
-All of these on both the 1.00 BIOS and the 1.10 BIOS Beta. No difference at all...

I need some expert advice. Thanks in advance! Please let me know if I need to add more information.

Solution
Welp, no-one had any ideas apparently, so I spent several more hours today working on it. Turns out I'm either 1) an idiot, 2) lucky enough to never have run into this problem, or 3) don't know how to read a manual (I did read it...).

I put the sticks into slots 2 and 4 instead of slots 1 and 3 (A2 and B2 instead of A1 and B1), and now I get the rated 3200 MHz CL14 no problem. Although, it does make me wonder about what will happen when I find two more matching sticks to fill it in.

Hope this helps someone. Have a beautiful day!
