Nvidia P4000 in older desktops

We have a Dell OptiPlex 9020 Core i7 4770 3.4 GHz-8GB-1TB with a AMD Radeon HD 8570/Intel HD Graphics 4600, we also have a custom made desktop which I don't know much about except it had a Nvidia Quadro 4000 card and about 8GB. I have little to no knowledge of computers in this respect, but need to upgrade if possible one of these machines to be able to run a Nvidia Quadro P4000 or similar graphics card. We currently are running a Dell laptop with this graphics card and it works to meet our needs. Is it possible to incorporate this P4000 into either desktop without a complete overhaul, what would I need to update, or replace to make it possible. The custom made not having much info about it probably won't help to get answers, but thought I would throw it out there in case. Trying to find a way around buying a complete new desktop, or a reason why it would be cheaper to do so. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks J

Is it a tower or desktop model OptiPlex? If tower, should run the Quadro with no issues. If not, you need to check power requirements vs the power supply and if the card can fit in the case.
