Zyxel vs D-Link

Solution
I'd go with the Zyxel.

The D-Link is only AV2 while the Zyxel is AV2 Mimo. It's not a huge difference but since there's only $10 difference you might as well go with the one with a more up to date tech. The Zyxel also comes with a pass through port. The extra port while nice, is only really a perk if you need more than one port and don't want to deal with a switch. I've used that kit, and I own the AV2000 version of that adapter and have liked both.

The big downside to the Zyxel is that it needs that pass through as the adapter is massive compared to the D-Link. Smallish 2 prong plugs will fit in to the socket above the adapter but beyond that you're out of luck and will need to use the pass through.

As with all Ethernet over...

As with all Ethernet over Powerlink kits your internal wiring is going to play a big role in how effective the adapters are. Different outlets will give you different speeds, so make sure to play around with the setup.

Prices for powerline here in Croatia are pretty much the same, the 500mbps and 600mpbs powerlines are only 10-15usd cheaper which is nothing.

Thank you for your rich and very informational reply, I will be going with the Zyxel because I have two sockets in the wall next to each other so I won't have problems with the adapter's size blocking other power sockets.
Believe me or not, the Zyxel and that D-Link adapter have the same price in Croatia.

Glad I could help. Make sure to read up on all the little setup requirements on EoP adapters so you don't get taken by surprise on any it. Good luck with it all!
