Need to help with DRAM config on Asus Motherboard

I've been having problems booting my computer for a while now, it often takes many attempts. I reaserched some things and narrowed my problem down to this: If I have both ram sticks(1.5v Kingston, i think 8gb) the computer turns on but won't actually boot. I know this has to do with some configuration on the Bios(Asus H87m-plus) but that's where my computer knowledge ends. I'm not sure which DRAM configs I should change and I'm afraid to screw something up.

Solution
After this the computer eventually stopped turning on altogether and I sent it to an technician that ordered to change the motherboard and it worked. Thanks for the suggestions
on asus mb guild the two main dimm slots ar a1 and b1. the other two main slots are a0 and b0. if you had your mb for a bit it can be a weak cmos battery. if it not the battery it can be the power supply or the mb. to check pull the gpu see if less load lets the mb post every time. if there no change try a test power supply. also check that the mb has all of the bios updates.

Please share the motherboard model as well as the part number for the RAM you are using.
Usually the right pair of RAM slots to use for 2 modules are color coded in order to avoid mistakes. In the Bios usually Auto settings work properly as long as your RAM is also listed on the Qualified Vendor List of Asus. Should be good with Kingston, but let's see.
XMP by default I can not recommend, but once we have clarity on the RAM let's adjust/fix the settings (DRAM frequency and Voltage) manually.
