OVERALL headphone ? technica ath m40x or CLOUD ALPHA ?

eh im a confused so much about my 1st good heaphone and i want the best. I heard about quality of m40x but i woried about that "flat" sounds and my bro have cloud1 that i like them. so im about to buy the Cloud Alpha or the mx40. HELP me out BROSSSS

Well it depends what you want them for-Do you want them purely for music,movies or are you hoping to make use of a mic as well? The m40x are monitor headphones so they "should" have a more timid low range (bass) but I imagine they would be amazing in terms of overall sound quality. I personally have not used the Cloud Alphas but if they are similar to the Cloud revolvers they would be great. The revolvers have a punchy bass, good overall audio and the mic is not bad either.

What is your overall budget and where are you going to be purchasing them from? Also main use-music, gaming and do you need a mic?

om thanks for the help mate (also whats your country ? Im greek and your name..xD) But yea i almost dont care about mic. my overall budget is about around 100 euros max. i will apreciate more help tho

I use the m50x for music production. It does not have tons of bass, but the sound quality is superb. I would assume the m40x is good as well.

eh thanks again for response. but i allready some rewies about this 2 and m50x is more closer to the normal listener(more "bass etc"). the sad part is that i have no idea how these 2 are theyr sounding. :/ rewies are good but they dont help me a lot cuz i have no idea if that how they call it "flat" and "qual" bass is enjoyable for me cuz i listen all kind of songs like dupstep from clasic music etc. and again HUGE thanks for the response and more help your be great
