Alright, so over the past week I've noticed my 2TB Seagate drive randomly failing I want to say. I would be on my PC, either working on Lightroom or Photoshop and the whole screen would got blank, not BSOD. The reason I believe it is the HDD is because when I hard reset the PC I pulled up my File explore to access some documents and I wasn't able to acess my Documents/Downloads folder which I have routed to my 2TB. Went on to My PC and it only showed my 2 SSDs. I shut down the PC, checked my HDD connections (unplugged and replugged) turned the PC back on and everything was back to normal.
Is this a sign of my HDD failing? I built the PC back in January, all new parts besides my 850 SSD. Is there a software that is reliable in telling me if it is failing? I looked on Seagate site but couldnt
