What should I buy in 2018 gtx 1050ti or gtx 1060 3gb?

Which GPU should I buy in 2018 gtx 1050ti or gtx 1060 3gb(I have a tight budget).I know gtx 1060 has better performance but I am worried about the 3gb vram.can I game on 3gb vram in the future or should I go for 1050ti for future proof?

gtx 1060 3gb despite the 3 gb vram its waaaayyyy better than gtx 1050ti ... you might need to lower textures to high or very high if it uses more than 3gb of vram but if you play with gtx 1050ti in ultra even if the vram is enough but it isnt fast enough so you have to reduce textures anyway to get stable fps.. and in games which doesnt use more than 3gb of vram the fps in gtx 1060 will be wayyyyy higher as its a faster card..

I have to agree with the above, the 1060 6GB is the way to go. I recently bought a 6 month old used 1060 6GB with most of it's warranty remaining, for not much more than half the new price. But, I know the used market varies depending on where you live, here in New Zealand, used cards are cheap.

Neither are future proof. I'd get the 1060 3GB if I had to pick between these two GPUs. There will be times where you need to lower some settings though.

You need to go higher if you care about future proofing.

The best choice would be to go with the 1060, as while it doesn't have too much VRAM it is still a better card that will most likely be effective for longer. Although neither of the cards will last any more than 2 years at most. I am happy to help if you have any more questions.
