My PC specs are:

CPU: Intel i5 7400 3.0 GHz
GPU: GTX 1070 8gb Founders Edition
RAM: 16gb DDR4
HDD: 1TB
PSU: 500W

will I be able to play games like PUBG in over 100fps on 1080p?

I'm not a power supply guru. I usually just buy what I'd consider halfway decent and I size it large. I just put a system together with a 1000w Corsair RMi series...and I probably only needed 600-700.

My logic is...the larger components take less abuse...thus the unit is more reliable and lasts longer. (I build electronic equipment for a living).

If you look here

http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

it's calling for a 500w minimum.

so should I go for 600w or 650w?

As I said...I go big....so I'd go for the 650w.
...but get something of decent quality. Although I'm not a guru, I know there are many crap manufacturers and models out there that don't output what they claim.
I would google around a bit and see what models are considered "good"....or you could even ask that question on the components forum.

I know the RMi I bought seemed to be considered halfway decent from what I read. I know there's a Corsair model above that....but I didn't feel like I needed to go that far.
