WD2003FZEX ( Western Digital, 2013 ) vs. ST2000DX002 ( Seagate , 2016)

I am looking to replace my current hard drive as it is showing symptoms of breaking down. ( High response time, over a thousand MS. )

Please help me choose. I would very much prefer one that is faster. I play games like ArmA 3 which renders a lot and has a long loading screen with my current hard drive , I would get an SSD but currently i don't have the budget to do so, and these 2 are my only choices.

Please do not tell me to go with an HDD + SSD combo or just an SSD, as i am not able to because of my budget ( Also in a different Country wherein it's 2x the price ), i would need to choose one that would last me long enough and anything that would be more powerful on the long run.

Thanks.

What HDD do you have now? Any other reason why it died or did it just suddenly fail?

I wish i had that choice, but i'm not in the U.S so i don't have access to Amazon or Newegg. I purchase from a limited shop.

My hard drives were chosen for reliability, not speed, because I have 3 SSD's.
C:\ Intel 750 PCIe 400GB Windows
D:\ WD Red 3TB data
E:\ WD Gold 4TB enterprise class backup
G:\ Crucial MX100 500GB games
S:\ Samsung EVO 5000GB Steam

I was using the Seagate SSHD for a few months as a test in my PC and was disappointed.
Then I put it in a portable USB drive enclosure.
It was never dropped or mistreated and I hardly used it.
It just up and died with no warning.

I would like to know how you managed to alter your time stamps, so your advertising post is above my negative review of your product.
I posted hours before you did and now you are on top.

I smell Shenanigans.
