Hi, I have a HP Compaq 8200 Elite Convertible Minitower: i5 2400, 12 gb ram, windows 10 pro, 320w.
8 months ago I got a zotac 1050ti oc and connected it to my old screen's vga port using a hdmi to vga active converter.
For 8 months, everything worked fine until today when the gpu stopped sending any signal to the monitor.
I have tested the monitor, the vga cable and the active convertor on another computer and they worked fine, also my computer's board vga adapter worked fine, the gpu is not sending any data but I can see it's fans running.
After starting using the board's vga adapter I noticed that the gtx 1050ti has disappeared from device manager, but all nvidia drivers are still installed.
Any Ideas?

The x4 slot shouldn't bottle neck THAT MUCH on the GTX 1050 ti so I'd use that for the time being, that said I think that sounds like a mother board issue, so you'll probably want a new one. Does your card have a 6 pin power connector?

I don't know if my hp board allow such option, I have 2 pci slots on my board, on is x16 and one is x4, I put the gpu in the x4, it worked perfectly, in the x16 no signal.
But I think the x4 will reduce the performance.
