For a few months I have been experiencing really bad ping/lag spikes.
I play Overwatch and CS:GO and every minute or so, my ping would spike to 400+ and then slowly lower back down. From then on it's rinse and repeat for however long I play. This problem occurs not only when i game though, often within discord i'm able to see my connection lower.
At first i thought it may have been my wireless adaptor card within my PC, so i bought a new one, and I continue to have the same problem.
Down below i have included a PNG image of PingPlotter, you'll be able to see how my ping fluctuates within the 20 minutes.
PingPlotter Results: https://share.pingplotter.com/2UCQxvFsTRF
PC SPECS:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3701 Mhz, 4 Core(s)
GPU: GTX 960 4GB
Wirless adapter:TP-LINK TL-WN881ND 300 Mbps Wireless N PCI Express Adapter
Internet speed: http://www.speedtest.net/result/7299249408
At this point, i'm really unsure of the problem and i would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to fix this persisting problem.
Thanks, Grace.
