Wifi OK but Ethernet keeps disconnecting

I've been using the same Huawei HG 8245 router for years but for the past week I have been having issues with the Ethernet ports. I have my PS4 and PC connected directly to my router using two different cables and ports yet both disconnect at the same time. It happens several times every 5 minutes and lasts 10 seconds before reconnecting. What is going on with my router?

Possible power problem.

Do you see any changes in the power LED? Blinking, green, orange, etc....

Hopefully just wiring or plug related versus some on-going failure within the Huawei.

Check the power connections at both ends: wall outlet and router.

Ensure that the plugs are fully and firmly in place.

Do you have someone knowledgeable around who can safely check the wall outlet? Could be a loose connection inside the wall outlet or even somewhere else in the circuit serving that wall outlet.

And it will take the router some time to re-establish communications after a power loss.
