Hi guys, it's my first time in this forum, but I'll be brief, I have a Ryzen 1700 that I found at a very good discount, but my memories are Corsair LPX revenge of 2400 mhz and my friends tell me that those memories will not surrender for games or video editing work because its limit (although I really care about the performance in games) of overclock is 2800 mhz and the minimum for Ryzen to work efficiently is 3000 mhz, now I just need the advice of you experts because RAM memory 3000 MHZ have very high prices in my country. I must add that my motherboard is an Asus ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING

Thanks to all of you

I got a dell inspiron 5675 with 1700x, rx570, and 1x8GB 2400 ddr4 at a great price. Soon as RAM gets reasonable again I will look at a 16GB (2x8GB) 3200 hyperX. Dell board does not do XMP profiles and hyperX seems to have the SPD programmed for the XMP profile.

For now though, 8GB 2400 isn't a dealbreaker. With the RoG motherboard you have you can try to overclock the RAM

The problem that I have at this moment is that it does not let me overclock the memories above 2400 mhz and the factory BIOS contains the latest version for this year. when I try to reach the 2666 does not start and I must place it at 2400 mhz. :(
