Ram Stick isn't Working

Just bought a new ram stick, and the computer will turn on, but it doesn't display anything. I removed the other one, and it still doesn't work. I've tried both slots. It's the right DDR level, and the Same MHz and volts and the other chip. I have an Intel H110 Chipset motherboard. Any suggestions?

Oh and if it matters I have a 4GB PC4-17000 (2133MHz) DDR4 DIMM.

_ Did you mean your computer was working all right and booting with the older memory stuck, and after you tried to add the new one it doesn't anymore?
- How many memory slots your motherboard has? (or what model is it?)

It has 2 slots, and it works with the other stick only, but as soon as the new one is put in (even by itself) the computer doesn't display anything.

What brand (and model number if possible) of each memory module and motherboard model please?
A memory module could have the right specs but still come out as not compatible with some motherboards, best is to check motherboard manufacturer website or manual for detailed memory compatibility list.

My current chip specs and the new specs are pretty much identical, so I don't see how one could work and the other couldn't work.
