It seems that I need SMB2 or SMB3 to enable a network connection to a Linux device.
There doesn't seem to be any trace of any SMB on my system, be it SMB 1,2 or 3.
It's entirely possible that SMB1 was taken out by a Microsoft hotfix after the Wannacry exploit, so I don't need that one.
But it seems I could definitely use SMB2, at least.
How can I reinstall this protocol?
