Hello all.

I have an issue I could use help with.
This is my build I plan to use for home NAS:
CPU: Intel i5-760
MB: Asus P7P55D
RAM: 4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz Hynix

I managed to lower the power draw to 35W (just the system without disks). Which is okay.
But I also bought an i3-530 to reduce the power even more.

Here is the thing.
With i5 (which does not have IGP) I dont need PCIe GPU for the system to boot into NAS4Free OS correctly.

But with i3 (which has IGP) I need to have PCIe GPU connected for correct boot.

Is it possible to somehow persuade the system to boot even without the PCIe GPU with the i3-530?

Thank you

i3-530
Integrated graphics GPU Type: HD (Westmere)
Base frequency (MHz): 733
The number of supported displays: 2

Supported memory: DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333

Your use of 4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz Hynix may be a problem. Modules sold as singles may be incompatible when combined in multiples. Modules sold as singles have no guarantee to work when combined in multiples.

If the RAM is the problem, wouldn't it cause a problem also with the i5-760? Because it doesn't.
I am using these: HMT351U6CFR8C-PB NO AA 1238, all 4 are exactly the same
