Help.
I watch laptop on HDTV listen through receiver
I want to go out of receiver to DVD/ DVR to be able to record from pc
Have read it's possible to do?
Something about converting av 2 3 or 4 to output.
Would somebody help me please?

You can't record HDMI since it is HDCP encoded. You can't convert inputs to outputs so you can't record from the receiver.
If your PC has a VGA output you could use an active AV converter to provide an output to connect to the recorder.
I'm not sure what function the recorder provides since you can download most things you watch on the PC. There are addons for Firefox to do this and other programs as well.

Thanks for the response.
Could burn DVD from DVR if wanted.
Copy things for wife to watch in other room.
Flash drive doesn't always work on her tv.
