Is nail polish bad for coating trace

I been scratch my motherboard with a screwdriver in some traces but i didnt cut it just a littel scratch and i covered it with clear nail polish is that good?

Clear nail polish it Isolator, that means it doesnt conduct electricity and it will protect parts of motherboard where do you use the nail polish, but as more as you're putting it, side effect is heat.
