I recently had a problem when my gpu fan increased it's speed several times from 0 rpm to max (windforce gtx 1060). It was followed by some resonance of fan (only during rpm were rising) which had me worried. Could it possibly do something bad to fan? Also when i overclocked gpu the fan speed grew up to 75% and resonating sound appeard again but I can't tell if it is the same sound however this is far more quiet. Basicly I hear it only when I'm focusing on it. The frequency of resonation is rising then dissapears to continual sound and appears again at lower frequency that starts to rise. Could the first mentioned problem damage or wear down my fans or was it safe? Also is the current resonation ok?
Could rapid fan speed increasing events damage my fans?
