Sabertooth 990FX corrupted flash data?

My Sabertooth 990FX is showing an odd message when powered on after a period of being off - something along the lines of: "The data in the EC or EC flash might be corrupted", and then it says the computer will shut down. I can clear the error by resetting the BIOS (removing the battery etc), and then it seems to boot fine, but when it is left overnight, the problem comes back. Can anyone advise how to fix this?

try using the usb flashback on the back of the mb run it twice. also if the error is still there try replacing the cmos battery if it weak it may be losing info when the pc is off.

Replaced the battery but the problem remains - I also reflashed the BIOS with the latest one but that hasn't fixed it either.

see if your chip is removable if it is pick up a new one on ebay or online and swap it then use usb flashback to reprogram the new chip.
