Alienware X51 power sensor failure

i gutted a old x51 pc and put it in a new case and got a new psu and gpu. when i turn it on it says 'power sensor failure' and it freezes. its been happening for a while and i haven't found a fix online.

This happens because you're no longer using the PSU daughter board from the X51. No actual problem is present. To get around the annoying prompt, you can go into BIOS, into the BOOT menu, and tell it to halt on "No errors". This will just skip that, and all other, prompts.
