I just built a new pc and it worked fine for a few minutes than it turned off, I managed to install windows onto it then it turned off again. Whenever the psu stopped working it would repeatedly turn on and off while making clicking sounds. I dont know what is wrong with it, I tried plugging the cables in and out, I also looked and the psu fan is spinning when it is on. I think the problem might be that I am using a power adaptor from type E to type L plugs. My power supply is the seasonic focus + 700W

my motherboard is the asus prim z370
cpu - i7 8700K
ram- corsair LPX 3000mHz
gpu- aorus gtx 1080 ti

Never use any kind of power cord adapters if you want your hardware to work properly. Also, Seasonic Focus+ 750 is good quality PSU and it's just wrong to abuse it with power cord adapter.

Contact the store from where you bought the Seasonic unit and ask them to supply proper power cord for you. If that fails, contact Seasonic directly, provide the PSU's invoice and ask them to ship the proper power cord to you.

While there are CEI 23-50 to C13 power cords on sale, i can't verify their build quality so that they are safe to use with PSUs, e.g this one,
