My techincian says that ryzen processors might affect the PC's compatibility with our monitor(which is kinda old, samsung syncmaster b1930). I play mainly Dota2 and PUBG
The cpu does not display the image thats the gpu. They are just telling you lies or something.
For pubg the 7400 would be better but the 750ti will be an issue. So thats why my recommendation was a ryzen 3 (or 5) + 1050.

Btw, any reason/s why the ryzen3 is better than core i3?
4 actual cores + a way better upgrade path. Single core wise the i3 will beat it by a bit but in multi core games the ryzen will pull ahead a bit (basically all recent games from the past 2 years).
