Yesterday I don't know what I did, but my Laptop does not let me play games as it usually does, I try to fix it with the HP Support Assistant, but didn't do too much, so I tried to use the Radeon Software Adrenalin and still have the issue, it has an update available (18.4.1), but when i install it and reboot the Lap comes back to the previous version (17.50.1.3)
I also used Driver Pack Solution and the drivers are on the day, but when i see the video adapter (AMD Radeon R7 Graphics and AMD (TM R7 M340) on the Status put ERROR, i don´t know what to do, also says that there's an error code 43
Here's some info:

  • OS: Windows 10 Home
    System: HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cd00x
    64 bites
    Processor AMD A12-9720P RADEON R7, 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G, 2700Mhz
Thank you, if you need more info just ask for it

Solution
As mentioned above try uninstalling all Amd software and drivers completely, reboot and let windows 10 install it''s own drivers through the internet.
Your card might gotten disfunctional because of prolonged overheating.

- Try downloading and running DDU : Display Driver Uninstaller >> http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html to clean up older driver, reboot your laptop, than install the latest drivers from AMD website:
for windows 10 64 bit Home :
- AMD minimal Setup >> https://www2.ati.com/drivers/installer/18.10/beta/radeon-software-adrenalin-18.4.1-minimalsetup-180426_web.exe
- drivers and Adrenalin 18.2.1 >> https://www2.ati.com/drivers/win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-edition-18.2.1-feb7.exe

It's still the same....it goes to the 17.50.17.3 when I try to go to the AMD settings it says ''Radeon Settings are currently not available. Please try again after connecting AMD graphics'', and still have the Code 43 error, I don't know what else I can do :(

-Did you try bare windows 10 drivers instead
-Does windows device manager report the graphic as correctly installed and good working order (graphic present with it''s correct nomenclature with no yellow flag or black arrow next to it, means correctly installed and enabled, if you right click on it, properties it would tell you whether device is working properly)
- I would suggest installing GPU-Z to check on you graphics temps among other info.
- It doesn't hurt to install and run HWMINITOR as well check temp and devices.

With the device manager, both (R7 Graphics and R7 340) have the yellow flag, both stop working because there's a windows code 43 error, i tried to update the device, also to disable it
