Is it safe to just disconnect my ruddering case fan? Case fan recommendations?

So I'm almost positive that my case fan is shot. There's this annoying small screeching sound to suggest it's because of the bearings. I went in to inspect and I saw hair in the middle of the fan. Guess I shouldn't be surprised as my PC has been an expensive vacuum cleaner over the years since I put my tower on the floor as I have no space elsewhere. Is it safe to just disconnect this specific case fan (I have 3 in total) and this one is in my front until my replacement fans come in what I can hope is 2 days (amazon prime)? Would you suggest I stop gaming during this time if that's a yes? (I'm talking game intensive like Dying Light or R6Siege)

Any suggestions on any fans you guys would recommend?

I know specs play a role into the amount of case fans you should get so here are mine

Graphics Card : GTX 980
CPU : i7 4790k
Case : Rosewill Stryker M ATX Mid Tower
Resolution : 1920 x 1080
Please feel free to ask me any more questions if I'm missing anything.

Thanks in advance

More than likely, you won't notice any temp difference with it disconnected. Especially if you have another front intake fan and a rear exhaust fan. Assuming you don't live in a desert where the daytime temp in the house is in the 90s.
