Hello! I have windows 10 home, and after a lot of consideration, I decided to downgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate, I am currently running on the Z270 chipset, and I'm aware of the driver issue, but I am going to purchase from winsupplier, I wanted to know if they are trusted. I also want to know when I do purchase Windows 7, will It be able to work on the z270 boards since its a download. I also want to know if anything goes wrong will I be able to go back to Windows 10 without using the key? Thanks!

I have no personal experience with Winsupplier. However, places that offer a full OS for so little money are usually selling licenses that won't work, that have either been re-used or were corporate installation codes. Almost all Ultimate licenses that I have seen are fraudulent; it was mostly a corporate license and not sold individually. I would also never install a distribution that I got anywhere except from Microsoft; these are known to contain malware.

I believe that Win7 support depends on the CPU; see this: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3329861/z270-motherboard-work-windows.html

Yes, you will be able to re-install Win10 if you have a good distro.

Thanks for the answer! After looking into Winsupplier it seems they just redistribute codes from PC's like Lenovo. I found Direct Deals, do you or anyone else happen to know if this is safe?

Grey market + Win 7 Ultimate...if that "Ultimate" license is not $300+...it is almost certainly not legit.

Never heard of Winsupplier, nor do I want to go to that website to look.
But...I can't imagine they are any different than all the other shady grey market suppliers.

The problem with classic shell, whilst it is a good menu (I use it on all my Win 10 PCs), is that (a). It is a dead product and is no longer supported. There is no guarantees that it will work with newer W10 versions and (b). It is Essentially a start menu. True, it has the classic explorer stuff, but by itself does not come close to making your PC look like Windows 7.

There are lots of tweaks that you can make to look more like Windows 7, some cost money, but all add extra load to your system. If it's the UX that's driving the upgrade to Windows 7 then that is where you should go.
