I was planning on upgrading my PC with 2x8GB of RAM but have no clue what brand or type to buy. I will link you to the pre-built computer I currently own to possibly help figure out what ones I should buy.

Terribly sorry if I come off as a bit of an idiot but I'm new to PC building and this'll be my first upgrade. Hoping I can learn something from more experienced builders to give me an idea on what I should look for.

Do you currently have 1x8GB and want to add another, or are you going to buy 2x8GB?

If 1x8GB and add another, then check the specs on the RAM module. It should have a sticker with the voltage and timings. You can buy another stick with exact same specs, but there's a chance it wont' work.

Best thing is to buy 2x8GB DDR4 2400. That way you know it will work together, or at least if it doesn't you can refund/exchange it.

This is really good RAM with low timings.

I currently have 2 1x4GB sticks that take up both slots, so I wanted to replace those with 2 2x8GB sticks instead for the 16GB RAM.

Well good then you can get the kit I recommended.
