After that I turned it on again, pc turned on(fans spinning, lights on) but the monitor could not detect it. Please somebody help me. The pc was running fine before this.

Psu: gamemax 500w

The fan wire is sheathed in plastic, so touching the MD shouldn't have caused an electrical short. However, your hand might have if you didn't unplug power to your PC first prior to sticking your hand in there.

Try unplugging power from your PC for about two minutes, check all video cable connections, then replug and try again.

check for any sliced wires with the pc unplugged, if the power supply or mb saw a dead short you may have to clear the cmos to have the mb post. if there no posting try a test power supply as the one you have is an unkown cheap unit and may have failed.

Hi, I recently contacted the mobo company and found out that it was my graphics card slot that have been damaged. I think I was too violent when I was slotting in the graphics card and damaged or bent the slots. Thanks for your answers.
