So, I Just got some new parts to my build, (Ryzen 5 1600 / X370 motherboard)

Now, That Motherboard was my birthday present, and I only had $100, so my GP paid for the rest of the CPU ($90) and I have to pay them back, (I mow their lawn every week for $20)

So, I MIGHT get 8gb from my parents, In a month, or Most likely get 4gb. (Its expensive)

I really want my PC working, What should I do?

IS 4gb REALLY that bad?

4gb will be enough to get you going. But in some games if you start to get a bit of stuttering That will be because of the low ram. And in them cases you can try turning some graphical settings down to help it out. But 8gb would be ALOT better.

4gb will get the pc up and running, but you will struggle in some games with stuttering/lag. Maybe buy a single 4gb stick and add another as soon as you can afford it, it will make a big difference.
