Stock vs Aftermarket Cooler

Hi, so....again, simple stuff. I'll buy an i5 8400. 2.8Ghz stock, but I'll do something to get it to 3.5Ghz , will the stock cooler be enough? If so, it will be better to buy some quality fans for good air flow, or I need an aftermarket cooler for the cpu. I don't care about noise honestly, headphones were invented for a reason. The only thing I care about is for the cpu to be cool since ill do some pretty heavy stuff. A.k.a. gaming/coding editing and others. Please don't hit me with "You could code on a potato"....I have a potato, it barely runs Opera....soo...which one? I could buy a cheaper aftermakert cooler and some fans, or a more expensive cooler and no fans, or high quality fans and stay with the stock cooler. This is my first pc, so I don't know that much, thanks in advance & have a nice day :)

Intel's stock CPU cooler is more than enough for i5-8400, even if you set it to run at 3.5 Ghz and especially since you don't care about the noise.

Pricier thermal solutions offer little advantage in cooling Core i5-8400. This is illustrated by the high delta between Intel's die and IHS, which results from that thermal paste the company uses.

The Core i5-8400 is relatively easy to cool, even with a standard heat sink and fan.

Edit:
While you can set all cores to run at about 3.9 Ghz, stock CPU cooler is still enough for it and temps wise, most what you could see is 80°C.

I has no money for the k version xD. The MB is an ASRock H310 HDV, so I think everything is good enough, but my question is, stock or aftermaket cooler, and why?
