I need advice on which router to use for a 100 Mbit connection. I own a ASUS RT-N66U that I've beeen using for a three bedroom apartment on a 50 Mbit connection and I'm very pleased with it but I'm not sure it'll be sufficient for my new house with 100 Mbit. The house is one story and 134 square meters.

If the RT-N66U isn't good enough any more could you recommend a router around $100?

Thanks :)

Wired or wireless? Most advanced routers these days will have gigabit connectivity for LAN. For WiFi, you're going to want at least 802.11AC and be on the 5Ghz radio band.

Check out the AmpliFi HD Home Wi-Fi Router (AFI-R). You can always add mesh-points later to expand coverage if needed.

Both. Wired for my gaming desktop and wireless for everyone else, phones, TV etc
