So bascially i bought a new build for a friend, but seems it wont boot, i checked the ram sticks, 1 by 1, different slots etc, no joy, then it came to a thought that the bios is out of date.

CrashFree BIOS 3

Never again worry about corrupted BIOS, as CrashFree BIOS 3 lets you restore a PC to working order — even when it won't boot!

Now it states it will even update when it doesn't even boot! so my question is how do i do this? I've been looking around on the internet for a solution and i cant find nothing, so I'm wondering if anyone on here can give me some advice, I've heard all about the boot kits etc, and using a older CPU, but most of this isn't available to me or time line is rather short. and consdiering i bought most of this from amazon i cant go to my local store and get them to upgrade it for me.

Parts;
Corsair vengence LPX 3000MHZ 8gbx2
MSI 1050TI 4GB
Ryzen 5 2600x

Asus offers USB BIOS Flashback on some of its better motherboards.

You may be interested in that feature on future motherboard purchases as your current one does not use it.

No idea about the video you claim to have watched. I can assure you that ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 is not a method of flashing the BIOS to a different version.

Yes, i do understand that, and i do know about the boot kits, but i don't think you get what im asking here, as the crashfree bios 3 WILL take a bios file and update it to the file, So if i put the latest bios on the USB, and install it via that.

I also watched a video where a guy was talking about Crashfree bios 3. he stated the MOBO didnt even need CPU/GPU or ram plugged it, and you can do it via USB. so surely, if i just rename the file on the USB drive to the crashfree one it will just update it to the newer version.
