Advice on selling gaming laptop or not

So I'm in need of some opinions on whether it's a smart move to sell a gaming laptop I purchased a little over a year ago. The condition I bought it in was pretty good except a little over 6-months later one of the fans I believe attached to the video card went out. I've yet to fix the issue and instead unhooked the wire inside. A course I've noticed later on that my games started to lag do to the fact. I bought it as is for $700 and am considering selling it in which I have an offer for $850 with it's current condition and a little over a year left on the warranty. I purchased to begin with for the mobility factor, however, I really don't use it much anymore and would rather build a pc with some better components. So my question is what would you do? Sell it, pay the shipping to get it fixed, or just keep it. I really don't need the money but I would like to continue to play my games without the graphics lagging. Below is my make and model along with the specs. Thanks in advance.
