Hey everybody,

The Blue Screen of Death has been coming up on my computer since last night. It all started after I cleaned the dust out of my computer with a can of compressed air. Also, I took two sticks of RAM from my brothers old PC (I'm not sure why he didn't want them) and put it in the computer. At first it wouldn't start up at all (I read that means the RAM wasn't installed correctly), so I took one of the sticks out which I had a little trouble plugging in. After that it began starting up, but everything was kind of an odd purple color, and it brought me to an auto-repair screen. I clicked auto not advanced, and after a few it began starting normally. Shortly after I logged in the first BSOD came. I don't remember exactly what order the errors showed up in, but I think the first one said "page_fault_in_non_paged_area".
After a few minutes it restarted and another BSOD came.
I decided that I should just take out the other stick of RAM and that would fix it. But the BSODs keep coming. The PC can run for awhile, but once I try to play games or anything a BSOD follows shortly.
But like I said earier there have been different error messages. I have seen:

-page_fault_in_non_paged_area,
-ntfs file system error, and
-bad pool header

I am not sure how to fix it, I can send the dump files if needed when I get home.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I was excited to have double the RAM and a freshly dusted computer.

Thanks guys :)

After a few searches, here's what each error means

page_fault_in_non_paged_area seems to happen when requested data is not found in the memory
the ntfs file system error has something to do with the hard drive, it could mean a bad hdd, do a disk check with crystaldiskinfo: https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/
It could also be caused by bad ram as well
a bad pool header also could have something to do with a problem with the windows memory allocation, and even a problem with device drivers, or bad sectors with the hard drive

Also, I just read that you said that you got 2 sticks of ram from your brothers old computer and put it in the computer, that could be the issue, the ram could've done something

Make sure all your ram is plugged in correctly, take out the ram sticks that you got from your brother if you kept them plugged in, plug in any loose cables in the computer
Also, try using safe mode, see if the bsod comes up there
