I'm building a new mid-range gaming PC and I'm looking for a case with a tempered glass side panel that's available here in India. Too bad the Fractal Design Meshify C isn't avaliable. That was my primary choice. Due to limited availability in brands, I've narrowed down to a couple of cases that are available.

  • - Antec P110 Luce

  • - NZXT S340 Elite

How do these two cases compare? Suggestions and opinions welcome!

Edit: I'm not looking to overclock

I cannot speak for the Antec, however, I own and use the S340 Elite. I absolutely love the case. If you plan on using RBG anything, it is quite wonderful. It hides cables quite well with the PSU cover on the bottom. The biggest downside to this case, that I dealt with anyway, was if you're planning on using an ATX sized board. The amount of space from the top of the PSU cover to the bottom of the motherboard is small. Extremely small. Getting the front panel connectors plugged in down there was a small pain. Annoying at best. However, once they're in, it's not like you're going to mess with them again.

other than that one con, it's got great Air flow, run intake on back and Front, and out on the top, with 0 cooling issues. I am running a Corsair H115i on the Top, and a 40mm on the back and 2x 40mm on the front. just to give you some idea.

Great to hear. I'll definitely be using a full ATX motherboard, the Gigabyte H370 HD3. Going through reviews of both NZXT and Antec models, I'm leaning towards the Antec as of now as it's a little cheaper here. I'm not much of a full fledged RGB kinda guy, I would like something subtle and not too gaudy.

^^ interested to know how you mounted a H115i in the top when it has a single 140 fan slot. And I am sure you don't have clearance to mount even a 140 rad in the top, it will interfere with the mobo.

But yes, it got good airflow and looks good. Having intake in the back is a bad idea cuz you don't have filters. Front intake and rear and top exhaust is the way to go.

Yeah, I remember you OP, I see that you have decided on the 8400 build. Good to know.
Also wondering y u would want a tempered glass case if you aren't into rgb...
That HD3 mobo doesn't have any led lighting, stock cooler looks boring and to get a gpu with lighting, u have to go for the higher end models....

And, since you are not overclocking, this case should be fine with those stock fans : https://www.theitdepot.com/details-Antec+DF500+RGB+Versatile+Gaming+Mid+Tower+Computer+Case+with+RGB+Lighting_P30023.html

Yeah, decided on the i5 8500. And GPU, the Gigabyte D5 series GTX 1060 does have some lighting. I might hold off getting the GPU until the 2xxx or 11xx series are out. And the motherboard has a yellow lighting on the bottom left section for the "isolated audio circuitry", albeit subtle. Tempered glass because I like the lighting features, but subtle. Also, I have a basic aftermarket cooler - Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo. No LEDs on that though.

Edit: The Gigabyte motherboard does have an RGB header, so, there's an upgrade path open.
