Alright so I currently have a built pc, I have had it for about 3 months and it’s running pretty slowly. So I’d like to overclock it. I am open to download any new tools that I may need, tools I already have are EVGA Precision XOC, and EVGA OC Scanner. (Benchmarking tool for specifically EVGA)
Here are my specs:
Motherboard: ASRock AB350M-HDV
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8gb DDR4 (4gb x2)
GPU: EVGA GTX 1050 (2gbGDDR5)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 1200 4-core 3.1 GHz
HDD: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM
Power Supply: Corsair CX Series 550W 80+ Bronze
Monitor: ASUS VS247H Full HD 1920x1080
Anyhow looking to optimize this thing to the max, I want to configure EVERYTHING I can to make it faster. DRAM Timing all that good stuff. I just don’t know what’s safe for my computer build.

Two things.

1. Your motherboard is not made to handle overclocking & being that you wouldn't gain much from doing so, I would not overclock that CPU.

2. Your biggest gaines will be installing an SSD as your OS drive & using the HDD as extra storage. Pretty much any SSD will speed your OS up by 2.5 to 3 times what your HDD is currently running at.

Edit: Also, if you are running slow after 3 months of use, then you need to make sure that you haven't filled up your HDD to 80% capacity or higher as well. ALL HDDs & SSDs slow down when you store that much or more data on them.
You can also defragment your HDD & delete any anti-virus program you have on the system. Anti-virus programs are useless & eat up as many resources as they can. Norton & McAfee are the worst offenders. If you need anti-virus, run Windows Defender w/ Malwarebytes (Free version).
